About Microgrown Market
A Family-Run THCa & CBD Shop
Husband-and-wife owners. Hands-on, every day. Matt and Debbie have been married since 1988. After long careers in other fields, they went looking for a more rewarding, less stressful second act — and found it in cannabinoids.
Meet Matt
When the 2018 Farm Bill legalized hemp production for the first time since 1937, Matt dove headfirst into the world of cannabinoids. Microgrown Farm, LLC earned a PA state license to grow hemp in the spring of 2019, and for three years he raised a few unique varieties of high-CBD hemp on the “micro” farm.
By early 2021, the calling shifted from growing to retail. Matt left his outdoor power equipment business, remodeled the building himself, and opened the doors of Microgrown Market in May 2021 as a straightforward THCa flower dispensary and CBD shop. Hands-on growing experience gave him insight into cannabis you rarely see behind a retail counter.
Meet Debbie
Debbie spent 38 years in corporate Human Resources before joining Matt full-time at Microgrown Market. That long history of working hard and serving people carries straight into the shop — she runs the store side by side with Matt and brings a balanced, practical approach to helping customers.
Like Matt, Debbie has studied hard to become educated about the exciting, ever-changing field of phytocannabinoids. Together they sort through the myths and misinformation around cannabis, hemp, and marijuana, answer questions clearly, and guide customers through dosing, frequency, and what to realistically expect.

I learned more talking with Matt for 2 hours than I've EVER learned from talking to a multitude of other sources combined! He really cares about helping people. He and his wife even stayed past closing time, because they said that helping us was more important than closing up and going home. Like, who does that anymore??? THEY DO. It's not just a "store", it's a fellowship. The products really seem to be helping so far. I wil definitely be returning and will continue to expand and broaden my knowledge. Many blessings!
